This project has been up and running for **4 years**. Okay, it's technically only been 3 years and 9 months but I like to round up. That sounds long in the world of the ever-changing internet, but it feels like only months ago I launched this project... Where does all the time go?

I figured I would take this time to say thank you to everyone who has added their wonderful website(s) to the club and reflect on this passage of time, similar to what I did in my previous post: [Two Years and Over 700 Websites Later](https://1mb.club/blog/reflection/).

But enough talk, let's look at the stats!

## Some Fun Stats

The [project](https://git.sr.ht/~bt/1mb-club) stats are below. These numbers will differ from the "Two Years" post since in that time I have [migrated to SourceHut](https://1mb.club/blog/back-on-sourcehut/) and moved to a `git send-email` workflow.

- 39 new contributors
- 76 patches submitted
- Restructured `_site_listings` folder into single `data` file
- Using SourceHut `builds` for auto-formatting submissions

Some fun facts about the **website** itself:

- 811 total members
- Performed another large-scale [purge](https://1mb.club/blog/purge/) (dead, spam sites)
- Total size of all member websites combined: 168,825 KB
- Average member website size: 208.17 KB
- 15 new **Hall of Fame** members (23 total! Thank you!)
- Upgraded Ruby to `3.3.3` and Jekyll to `4.3.4`
- Still hosted on [NearlyFreeSpeech.NET](https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/contribute/1mb.club)

## Other News

I've also been given the honor of running / maintaining [Kev's](https://kevquirk.com) original [512KB Club](https://512kb.club) project. If your website is small enough to be part of this directory, it should also (most likely) be accepted into that club as well. Feel free to check it out and submit a patch!
